Cold sintering and electric characterization of ZnO-BaTiO3 composites

The sintering is an essential step in the processing of ceramics materials. A number researchers have reported new techniques for sintering. However, general, process still demands high temperatures. This paper reports results cold ZnO-BaTiO3 composites. microstructural, structural, and electric properties composite were studied. We obtained densities (>95%) pure ZnO composition with 10 wt% BaTiO3 at a low temperature (250 °C/1 h). increase content reduced grain size degraded sinterability ZnO. crystalline structure was investigated by X-ray diffraction confirmed separation phases after added values conductivity, permittivity, also dielectric loss.
